Jack's not Dutch!!!
Well stone the crows, Jack is actually Belgian. We've been in some doubt as to the rescue centre's claims that Jack was a Dutch Shepherd for some time, especialy since from all we've found out the breed is extremely rare. We finally got around to contacting the National Dog Tattoo Register this week and they told us that Jack was registered by his breeder as a Belgian Malinois. Well there you go.
Jack is starting to settle into his new home though he still suffers from separation anxiety and has a tendancy to chew anything he can when we're not there. We are using various strategies suggeted by our wonderful (and long suffering in the case of Sabre) vet. This is not, I should point out the practice that carried out Jack's snip.
